Welcome to Pinged (accessible at https://pinged.online). This Privacy Policy explains how we ("we", "our", or "us"), a team of two co-founders based in India operating collectively as an unincorporated team, handle information when you interact with our website and services.

2. Information We Handle

Pinged provides two core services: prospect discovery and lead ranking. Our approach to data handling:

  • We create user accounts to manage your searches, lead ranking runs, and prospect credits.
  • We collect basic account information (email address) for authentication and service delivery via Clerk.
  • Prospect discovery: We surface publicly available profiles and signals from sources such as Reddit, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and the open web. We do not access private accounts, private messages, or gated platforms.
  • Lead ranking: When you upload a CSV of your existing leads, that file is processed to score and rank contacts by buying intent. Uploaded files are used solely for this purpose and are not stored beyond the processing session.
  • We do not scrape private or non-public data.

3. Payments and Billing

All payments on Pinged are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the Merchant of Record.

When you make a purchase:

  • Dodo Payments collects and processes your payment information
  • Dodo Payments handles applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax
  • Dodo Payments issues receipts and manages refunds

We do not store or process your credit card or payment details on our servers.

We may receive limited transaction information (such as your email address and purchase confirmation) for:

  • Service delivery and account management
  • Customer support

4. Cookies and Tracking

Pinged uses essential cookies for authentication and service functionality. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand general website performance and usage patterns, without identifying individual users.

5. Your Rights

You may request information about any data associated with your account or request its deletion by contacting us. Deleting your account will remove your search history, lead ranking runs, and associated prospect data from our systems.

Payment-related data is managed by Dodo Payments, and requests related to such data may need to be directed to them.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India.
